That question has haunted me all week. Often times when something stays with me I stop and take notice. Usually the haunts in life is a road sign on the journey of life so; I give them consideration and am usually better off because of it. I don't take the subtle voice lightly because I need guidance on the goat trail through the wilderness.
I make a comfortable living although I'm not completely satisfied with my current path. I am not a spring chicken however; I believe in always reaching for a greater journey. Perhaps I need to build another bridge, take the rocky cliff path, or swim against the current of the raging river of existence. Sometimes I feel too old to take on another big challenge. I would rather take the gentle flowing water path and float along on my inner-tube trailing my fingers in the warm river.
While taking it easy and basking in what we have built has it's appeal, if we don't challenge ourselves we will miss out on a bigger raft and perhaps a luxury yacht. I shall take this cardboard lemonade road sign from my son and figure out what the hidden message is.~b
