I often wonder if our media on all fronts are out of touch with our population. The media tells us what they say is relevant but rarely hits the mark in my humble opinion. Is it any wonder that the internet has more of a following than our TV shows? Creativity is still allowed on the internet and you can browse just one site to know it's true. YouTube displays creativity albeit not all good as well. If the pencil pushers in our mainstream media would listen to the population instead of an elite few, their ratings would likely soar.
I think that SNL would do well to bring in some fresh writers, not just from the people who have followed a career in stifled writing but, normal creative people. It is a shame that imagination is represented in our media so little these days.~b
