We all really need personal peace in our lives. Where do we start? We start with our mind by turning off the noise of this world. Let your mind just go blank. After your mind is completely blank (which might take some time and practice) take in your surroundings slowly. If you are in a room in your home, focus on a blank wall and take notice of the textures. If you are outside, take in the grass and the subtle variations. Gradually turn up the volume of your mind. Enjoy the simple things around you and take notice. Then let your thoughts gradually wake up a bit and consider what is most important to you and your life. Let your mind weave your thoughts around a very few important things in your life and figure out how to focus your time on the most important issues in your life. Let the other things become secondary only when you have nurtured the most important parts of your life.
