We met on the fly and by chance our paths crossed. I stopped and gazed into your mind, and you viewed mine. We enjoyed a connection neither of us could fathom. Physical conditions did not apply, we just were. We walked along the beach, enraptured in our thoughts. Our love for each other blossomed quickly; as the flowers in the desert bloom with a rare thunderstorm. The fragrance of our love filled our hearts with joy. We left no secrets to hinder our relationship. We were an open book in each others hand.
No one knows who you are, but you my dear, you know; that is all that matters to me. Just as quickly as our love began, the flower of love faded. The sweet fragrance of our unique flower still fills my nostrils. The empty place in my heart still pains me. You left me, my dear, you left me.
Honor, respect, and different perceptions of how things ought to be, closed the doors to a love so great, words would not be adequate to describe. I gave you my love--all of it, and did not want anything in return except a piece of your heart. You gave me a piece of your heart, but you took it away. How can this be? I dare not think unkindly towards you, I shall never let my thoughts dwell in the shadows. I just do not understand. Our cultures must speak different words to our minds, disguised as wisdom. I tell you the truth, despite what our cultures say to us, what we had was beautiful there is no denying that fact, you know I'm right.
Love is truthful; someone or something who wants to destroy love lies. My tears are wiped away by the wind, don't worry about me my dear, I appear to the world as a strong man, I won't let the world discover my pain. I want you back in my arms. I want to hold you tightly. You can always come back to me; my love is great and powerful. Until you decide to return, I will walk along the beach alone. ~b
