I suppose this first caucus whittles away the candidates who have no chance of winning the nomination. I can also see that finally after so many polls are produced on little evidence that; official voting no matter how few gives energy to the top contenders. Other than those two reasons, winning Iowa doesn’t really mean a whole lot.
You know, Hillary is claiming a huge victory over Bernie but they are really virtually tied according to percentage. At the time I am writing this, there is not even a half a percent difference between the two. Cruz, Trump, and Rubio are very close so either of them could ultimately win the nomination. I did hate to see how Mike Huckabee never really got any legs in his campaign but, I suppose you really have to go at it to gain any ground.
This election year will be interesting to watch however; I would advise everyone not to devote all their attention to the elections and not catch what our current government is doing while attention is not on them. Cheers ~b
