I firmly believe in freedom of speech for all humans, including those who like to step outside of the norm. While I don't always agree with what some would say, I don't see it as my authority to stamp out those whom I don't agree with. I also don't think others should stamp out my opinions just because they disagree with me. Our own beloved USA is trying to stamp out 'Christian' opinion. Why is freedom of speech allowed to only the people who don't believe in the Bible, and Bible believers are told by authorities of the law that; we are haters using hate speech and not allowed to speak what we want to say? It is clear to me that; the haters are the ones saying a group of people have no right to speak their opinions because it is offensive.
I believe the most offensive and blasphemous actions occur within the false umbrella of religious circles. By that I mean: people who call themselves Christians writing books about such things as going to heaven and coming back to preach to the world about their experience only...they just made up the story and lied about it. Preachers who preach falsehoods of the Bible, and etc.. The Jihadist who says they are following their Muslim belief by killing people. The leaders of a Jihadist group telling their followers to kill themselves in the name of Allah while, the leaders live it up and not kill themselves for what they say is the right thing to do. It would seem to me that, falsely representing a belief system for one's own gain should be more offensive than a clearly anti-religious group writing satire.~b
