I've been wanting to speculate with you about what may really be going on behind the scenes concerning 'The Interview' and North Korea and the USA. Bear in mind, I generally think outside and around the general opinions on most subjects.
First, I think our President should be focused on more important things than a movie and a company. Sony should be able to deal with it's problems on their own. As far a free speech and patriotism, I despise the twisting of American values and our Constitution. If Sony wants to make a movie and release it, that is their business and right...there is no reason to turn this movie into a rally call for America, this is simply a movie for entertainment and making money. I imagine this movie will break records because of all the attention our surface existence has given to it.
What our President, government, businesses, and ourselves should understand and realize from this whole escapade is; how vulnerable our 21st century commerce, profiles, personal data, government secrets, etc. IS! Our computer files can be penetrated by intelligent people as easily as I can push my finger through tissue paper. Beefing up our country's computer systems should be a top priority in light of what happened to Sony who by the way; is on the cutting edge of technology.
I happen to believe North Korea when they said they had nothing to do with the hacking breach of Sony. What happened to our belief in this country of innocent until proven guilty? Why is our President proclaiming North Korea and Kim Jong-Un guilty with very little proof and soap box pounding that 'he' will hand out retribution of his own choosing and when?
One other thing, North Korea offered to work in conjunction with the USA to research who hacked Sony. Why do you suppose the powers in our country don't want to accept the olive branch from Pyongyang?
Bottom line, our country elites don't like North Korea because they don't play ball with us, and this is just another opportunity to destroy a country 'because'.
Do I personally agree with how North Korea is run? No, and there are legal ways try to help North Korea without; doing underhanded retaliations of a fabricated accusation in secret because, a 'spin' has been put on the situation by our President so some light headed Americans will say go for it. Cheers!`b
